Day 20

Early (for us... 8:30) in the morning (tuesday the 8th) we said our goodbyes to Brett and hit the road. This stretch of driving was decently long—13 hours to Columbus Ohio. During this time we were able to finish the 2nd book in the series, Mark of the Lion. The end produced tears of joy (just for Donna).

We decided to take the one hour addition to our trip so that we could see Niagara Falls—who knows the next time, if ever, we will be going through this area! It was a good decision to see them! From the freeway heading toward the falls you can see the cloud of mist where the falls are! It is quite windy there... and misty! It was fun to be hit with the mist (other than having to clean off your sunglasses).
Just in case you didn't get a feel for what the wind and mist did to Donna's hair, here is another shot below to show you!
The rest of the drive went well... with lots of rain! We actually watched a pretty nice lightening storm for most of the drive! Here is a picture of what we were looking at while driving. (a bit hard to see the road, but Corey is a pro)
Donna started to have some fun with shutter speed on this next one...
Corey was finally getting a taste of what it is like to be the subject of an amateur photographer (usually Donna is the subject of hundreds of photos!). Don't worry, Corey is having a good time even with that straight face (he was trying to stay still for the shot).  : )   We definitely have plenty of laughs along the way.

Niagara Falls! Awesome! I thought the second shot of Donna looked more like the lightening had hit her -- ha ha ha!!

These pics/blogs are WAY better than any ol' postcards would be -- keep it up! Love it!

Praying for continued travel mercies.

Love you,
Mommo

Well... the spelling police just responded to your blog, using your spelling... and wondering why that seemed wrong... Then, when I commented the next time, I realized it was wrong, but couldn't go back and correct the "published comment." Ugh!
