Faye: One month of life experience
Our little baby is now a month old. We are starting to understand why people say that they grow up SO quickly and that you need to cherish each moment because it goes by so quickly. So here are recap pictures of her first month of life!

mittens Donna wore when she was a newborn!
She LOVES sticking out her tongue!
There's our little monkey wearing her monkey sleeper;
these newborn sleepers were still so big on her.

She seemed to enjoy it—sound asleep.

We love when she grabs hold of our finger.
(much better than when she grabs hold of Donna's hair)
Her first tub bath. She did so well the first half, then we think the water started getting cold,
and she was not so into that. We have discovered that she likes showers much more.
Our cute little snuggle bug.

Corey is in love.
Grammy and Grampy came to see their new little granddaughter. She was continuously held and loved the entire time they were here—already getting spoiled! In the picture below, Faye shows that even 2 week old girls can have advanced boxing skills.
Faye is modeling the little knit hat that Patricia,
our midwife who delivered Faye, made.
This is often the pose seen most when Corey is in charge of Faye.
They enjoy many nap times like this.
Corey's brother Kris and his wife Shara came to see their new
niece for a brief visit here in Eugene.
Faye tried to get some food from Uncle Kris, it didn't work too well...
...so Faye settled for nibbling on his finger. 
Here we caught her napping with her hand straight out!
"Ahhhhh, this is the life" says Faye while lounging in daddy's lap.
"High five! I just got my first piece of snail mail - my social security card!
I'm officially a citizen according to the U.S. government!"
(don't worry, we blurred out the SS#!)

Katie and Faye had a wonderful bonding 10 minutes before Katie hopped back on the train to her summer destination internship at a north Washington summer camp!

It seems that Faye is showing more tiredness than Donna from the adventure...
Faye started out at 7 lbs 1 oz, 19 in and is now 8 lbs 5 oz and about 23 in...growing in leaps and bounds.
